I am based with my boyfriend in his family home in the heart or Surrey. It is a lovely private yard that is easily accesible yet still very much in the countryside. The facilities are fantastic, to add to the facilities of the property there is also off road hacking backing onto the property where you can hack for hours on sandy woodland tracks.

Paddock Woods is also a stud, we have all the equiptment needed for sucessful natural coverings and artificial insemination. We have stallions standing at stud in three disciplines, Eventing, Show Jumping and Polo.

We have six irrigated turnout paddocks. These all have post and rail fencing that is 6ft tall with spacing between each paddock which is mainly to cater the needs of the stallions.

We also have two larger turnout fields both of which are also securely fenced.

We have 21 stables split into two yards that back onto each other. The yard also has a practial feed room and tack room and storage area as well as a wash room with an industrial washing machine. We also have a hot water, cross tie wash down area and a solarium.

Backing onto the yard we have an all weather wood chip track. This is a fantastic track that runs round a huge circle. The track is useable all year round and is big enough to fit four horses up sides.

In the centre of the wood chip track is a huge fully irrigated with built in sprinklers, exercise field. This is an amazing facility to have as the horses can train on grass which prepares them in the best possible way for their competitions on grass. In the summer we have a full set of Show Jumps on the field as well as a full sized Dressage arena.

We also have an all weather out door school, this is a rubber/sand combination surface. We mainly use the school during the winter months.

We have a horse walker that takes four horses which overlooks the outdoor school.

We have a pen that we mainly use for youngstock but is also used for horses on rest or foaling. This pen is completely open sided on one side and well sheltered with the roof and back wall. It over looks the school which provides good spectator sport for the residents of the pen!

Backing onto one of the larger fields is the woodchip turnout pen. This is a large pen with 6ft fencing and a large field shelter. Small groups live in this pen but it has also been used for resting horses and foaling.

We have grooms accommodation which holds three or four grooms. The accommodation has sky and wifi and a garden of it's own.

In the lake there are some huge fish! There are also moorhens, ducks and geese. It makes the property look very picturesque!

Itchy and Scratchy are my mini pigs! Max bought them for me at a jumping show during the Winter of 2011. They live on the other side of the lake with the Chickens. They love the horses and provide very entertaining scenes as they love to charge around at full speed all the time squealing!

The two Paddock Woods goats roam around the fields and spend most of the time sleeping or trying to steal food from the horses!

There are 5 dogs at Paddock Woods and they aren't small! Three of them are wolf hounds, one is a lurcher and one is a terrier.
