Emily Llewellyn - Junior Medal Winner

My name is Emily Llewellyn and my passion is eventing. I am still a junior in the sport, being only 18 but I love everything about eventing and hope to share my excitement and enthusiasm with you through this website.
Eventing is a rapidly growing sport with Burghley and Badminton attracting audiences of over 150,000 people a year. And TV and press coverage is growing all the time – over 1.6 million viewers tuned into to watch the 2005 Blenheim Horse Trials… and that’s in addition to those who followed it through the internet.
Please have a look around my website… and do let me know what you think!
For me, riding was almost inevitable as my mum had competed successfully in show jumping, dressage and eventing. I think I would have ridden anyway but having my mum behind me has been a great help.
Mum is an accredited trainer which means I am very lucky to have access to top class training seven days a week! It’s a huge help having her there… for me and my horses!
This year my aim is to be on the European Young Rider team, win an individual medal and help the team win gold again. After Young Riders I want to compete for (and win) an individual medal in the Senior Europeans, World Games and the Olympics.
Right now I now I have 'Society Spice' and 'Pardon Me' but I am currently looking for another couple of very special horses to bring on, that will also have the ability to compete at top level.
If you are interested in becoming involved in the sport of eventing and supporting me – no matter how small – or if you simply want to ask any questions then please don’t hesitate to contact me.
